We made it, we are now in the West!  Crossed the Mississippi at Baton Rouge around mid day, camping tonight at Sam Houston Jones State Park in Lake Charles LA.  The bayou country is impressive, the bridge over the swamp land, Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, is 18.5 miles long.  3rd longest bridge in the US.

We are expecting to spend a couple days in Houston, have to check out the Space Center and a few other places.
