Nashville I-24 RV Park

Made a nice easy drive to Nashville today.  It seems that in TN all the large rest areas on I-40 are closed.  The simple ones with no service buildings are open.  Being self contained that is fine with us.  Although it would be easier if the parking area of those rest areas were open even if they closed the buildings.
There was some construction near Nashville so we went right through downtown on I-40.  Another day of light downtown traffic.  It was cool to get the quick tour of the city.  Saw all the signs for the great tourist sights!  Nothing open so seeing the sign was all we were going to get anyway.
This campground is in a residential neighborhood just about 20 minutes south of Nashville in Smyrna.  Of course nobody can tell the difference in cities, it's seamless suburbia.  Welcome to the east again.

At a truck stop today
