One sight we saw today, a restaurant Steak House in front of a feed lot. Talk about available fresh meat! In Eastland TX.
This whole area is a return to green grass. We have left the desert behind us. There is even water in most of the creeks.
The highway is not very busy. Driving through downtown Ft. Worth and Dallas was easy. The only traffic constriction was at a construction zone where the interstate narrowed to one lane. The express lane was closed but it didn't matter.
It is a bit hotter here in Texas. It's 9:20 and it's still 80 degrees outside. We have the AC on for the first time.
