Bushwhack, day 2

This was the second day of the Main Match and last day of the shoot.  It started out at 48 degrees and cooled off to 44!  When we started shooting (a little earlier than scheduled) it started raining.  It didn’t stop.  It let up a bit but then came back harder.  Luckily it didn’t become the really hard intense rain that I saw in some of the forecast maps.

Only 4 stages today, and we were very happy they had changed  from five each day in anticipation of the rain.  And by luck we had the four more simple stages.

Things worked out for me.  I won my Frontiersman category, and took 3rd in my Sr. Modern Wild Bunch category as well as 10th place overall in Wild Bunch.  I am very happy with that.

Carlene stayed here with Skye at the camper today.  Too cold and wet to hang out and watch.  I don’t blame her one bit!

It was so rainy that I took very few pictures.

Yesterday I told you about the real Dr. McCoy, AKA Groundhog
BTW, he is the new SC State Champion

Not sure what Skye has to be tired for
