We got up early enough this morning but it still took until 11 to hit the road. Quite a bit of repacking to do. And then the packing. Stuff was scattered all over the place.
Once we got going it was a very nice day, bright, sunny, cool (high 62). Supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow. No plans for the day yet. We stopped a few times since we had the time. It was only a couple hundred miles.
This is a small but very scenic park. It’s the only state park I have been to that has a golf course. But the big thing is the lake. We are right on the shore of Eureka Lake (AKA Lake Juniper), 2.5 miles long, 360 acres. Once we got parked and unhitched we let Skye off her leash, she made a straight shot and jumped in to the water! She thinks this is the perfect camp site, except for the park's leash rule. After some swim time she heard Carlene rattle her food dish and ran right into the camper without a shake. Until she was inside that is. We now have a clean floor!
