I suppose we did win something in some imaginative sense.
Good day to drive to Florida. We took the coastal route through Alabama and the start of Florida, then went up to I-10 to get around Pensacola.
We are at Torreya State Park in Bristol FL. This is in the panhandle a bit west of Tallahassee. Hurricane Michael did a big ripping job here. Lots of debris piled up on the sides of the roads, trees still down everywhere. The roads are open but off road is a mess. Only two trails open here at the park. The rest still have trees laid out in criss-cross fashion throughout the woods. You'll get a hint of it in the photos but the scale defies photography.
We are actually kind of high up for Florida, 216' in camp. There is a pretty good view from here, especially since the storm took out a lot of the trees that used to hide the view.
Well, Verizon is being flakey tonight. Connection comes and goes. Maybe photos, maybe not.
So it's on again, let's see if I get them all posted! Should be 19.
GOT 'EM!
