San Ignacio de Tubac was an old Spanish Presidio built around 1752, the first European settlement in Arizona. The museum also presents the native american presence for 2000 years. Another exhibit featured the rodeo and exhibition show cowgirls of the early 1900s.
Then we toured the village of Tubac. It is mostly an artist village with countless art shops, with a few good interesting places like a chocolate shop. But at $10 for a small bar of chocolate we came out empty handed.
Then a tour of the area up to Green Valley on our way back to camp.
It's about 8 PM here, just got fully dark and the coyotes are running around again. We've heard them at the fairgrounds every night so far.
