Got up to a nice sunny day! I took about 6 hours to repack the truck and garage for Winter Range from their road trip formation. There was ammo and cowboy duds etc. to get out of the truck and plenty of road trip stuff that we don't need here to put in the truck. And then repacking a lot of the utility stuff (hoses, spare parts, trailer gear) to be better organized. Many last minute things were just packed into the garage for later sorting. This was the day for that "later sorting". And to get the generator running; it has not been started in over a month. And set up the solar panels. As long as it stays partly sunny we have enough solar to keep the batteries up and even run the inverter to recharge this laptop. But the convection/microwave oven is pure 110 v, meaning the generator. Kind of miss the gas oven when dry camping.
This afternoon we went over to another camp area to find my friends from CT & MA. They had taken a week or less to drive out with their campers. Had some good story telling on all sides.
I have been checking the DMV website every day for the truck registration and this afternoon it was there!!! That's a relief. I have arranged with a friend about 7 minutes away to have the plates sent to her house. After they get to my house. DMV could not send them directly here.
