Fire & Ice day 1

Fire & Ice is a local Cowboy Action Shoot about 8 miles away from Ben Avery.  I went to it last year and had a good time so I'm back again.  It is a good warm up for Winter Range.  Today my goal was to figure out how I could shoot with my bum shoulder.  It worked out pretty well.  I can't lift a gun to eye level, it's hard enough to do that with my empty hand.  One of my daily exercises is to do that 30 times.  It's fine at first but painful by the end.  So I am doing all pistol shooting left handed.  Drawing and reholstering right handed is not always easy but getting better.  And transferring from the right hand to left is new skill still under development, but also getting better.
Shot with several of my New England friends and a bunch of new people from all over.  That's the fun of coming to a big shoot a long way from home.

Carlene took the truck in search of propane and groceries.
