Cheraw 2

We discovered Cheraw Star Park several years ago. I’d have to read this blog to find out when!  It is a beautiful lake, long and narrow. An impoundment of the Juniper Brook makes Eureka Lake.  There is a closed park road going to two group campgrounds, each having very different characteristics.  The older one is close, probably can reach it from our campsite but we haven’t tried it.  The newer one is about a mile away.  A very nice walk through the big pine woods.  Once there we have lunch by the lake while Skye splits her time between begging our lunch and swimming.  Then we wander around the camp buildings.

After that we went grocery shopping, with a stop at the local icecream shop.  My shake was delicious.  Carlene had a dish of chocolate peanut butter.  I remembered that place from a couple years ago.
We also spent some time this morning rearranging more stuff in the truck and camper.  So then we bring in more groceries to store.

The bigger group camp
You may have to look close to see the buildings
