Edisto Beach State Park, SC

It's only 150 miles from Myrtle Beach to Edisto Beach.  Only a few miles of Interstate as we passed by Charleston.  Nice to be back here again.  We stayed here our first winter and liked it enough that we stayed almost a week.  There isn't much here.  Very small town, one store, a few restaurants and this park.  Now this park has a couple miles of beach and there are many more miles of beach outside the park.  There are a few trails and an ed center that has some interesting features.  We are staying 2 nights, might go check out an old plantation nearby tomorrow.  And walk some more beach.  We did a couple miles of sand today.  And it was 71 degrees and sunny.  But a strong wind on the beach felt a lot cooler.
This good weather is not going to last much longer.  There are some heavy thunder storms coming in the gulf states this weekend.  We may be hanging on the SC / GA coast for a few more days.  Aw shucks!  😎
