Laura S Walker State Park, GA

Another relatively short day drive to Waycross Georgia.  It was a rainy start and of course I had to dump the waste tanks in the rain.  It's day 11 and they were getting full.  So of course we got a campsite tonight with an on-site sewer hookup!  😛
Laura S Walker was quite a lady, 1861-1955, active in many areas, had presidents, governors et al visiting her.

We had a good walk for a while, went out on a boardwalk across the lake.  Nice scenic view.  This is a pretty park with a little lake.  A couple small power boats and several canoes.

It was a good choice of direction to come here.  The coast of GA was slightly rainy with some sunny periods.  All the heavy weather is inland and north, and now fizzling out.  Once again we have taken our time and danced around the big bad storms.

And it was 81 degrees here today, Shorts Weather!!

Next stop is Opp AL.  Jackson SP.

One of the salt marshes we crossed

I really like the Spanish Moss hanging from the trees down here.

On our walk this afternoon
