Fontainbleau State Park, outside New Orleans

Yet another cool sunny day to drive across the south, but getting towards warm again.  56 today and we're back in regular jeans and T-shirt finally.  Supposed to be 70 by Sunday.  We arrived on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain in mid afternoon (thanks to the time zone change).  Very nice large park, spacious sites, deer sign right behind the camper.  Taking a shower has been interesting.  This is the deep south, the bath buildings are not heated so there is not a lot of lingering after turning off the hot water.  I have emptied one propane tank in the camper from running the heat every night.

Good views in Mobile Bay, along the Blakeley River, and a few other scenic places.
Found a real nice lady in the Louisiana Welcome Ctr who gave us a lot of advice and a well marked map to get into New Orleans and find parking.
