Big Bend day 5, final day

Seems too soon to be leaving Big Bend, but this is the 5th night.
We went to the east end of the park at Rio Grande Village, a campground near Boqillas Canyon.  Our hike was from the campground area of Daniel's Ranch to Hot Springs.  Hot Springs was a community once upon a time that was based on the thermal springs adjacent to the Rio Grande.  We had walked from the historic village sit to the hot springs a few years ago so we just turned around when we got to the hot spring.  That was a 5.6 mile hike which had taken us up around the heads of a couple side canyons.
We met our campsite neighbor on one overlook.  That's the guy with the "go anywhere" camper that I posted a day or so ago.  He gets around exploring the park.  He is still becoming acquainted with that camper, he just got it in June and does not have a lot of 4 wheeler experience.  I expect that has a pretty high center of gravity so caution is a good idea.  We get a quick look inside while talking to him last night.  It reminds me of the ISS, all white inside.  They must have had one of NASA's interior decorators.
We had TWO bobcat sightings today.  It's a campground cat, those and the coyotes clean up after the campers.  This bobcat is pretty comfortable around humans.  I first saw him sitting between the road and the campers, he casually crossed the road when he saw the truck but only went 10' into the cover.

The Bobcat:

Pretty close to the camping

Later in the afternoon, second sighting:

The Road Runner.  Did not see Wile E. Coyote

One of the side canyons, notice how polished the rock is.

The Hot Spring, right on the Rio Grande.  A few Mexicans in the background.  They had some trinkets for sale (laid out on the ground by the spring, tin can for honor system payment) and were probably keeping an eye out for buyers.
