Got settled in and enjoyed a comfortable afternoon of 78 degrees.
I had a bit of work to do. When I was taking the solar panels apart I must have done something very wrong. I didn't just blow the fuse, the whole fuse holder melted. I had to get a replacement when I got here. I put it all back together again and it works fine, just like it worked fine for 8 days at Empire. No idea what went wrong. We'll see how I do when I take it apart again in 11 days.

After yesterday's post someone wondered what I meant by a "normal" desktop. This is it. It came back by itself; much like it went away by itself. ????????? |
Yup, that was it. "Tablet mode." The computer folds up and you can touch the screen to mouse, right?

PS Arizona is wonderful. The only place I've ever been where I ever became dehydrated (some cactus garden near where you were), but also the only place the sun didn't make me feel sick. I loved our visit there. No place I'd live, though.
ReplyDeleteYup, it must have been the tablet mode. I didn’t fold it all the way to tablet but may have been just far enough.
ReplyDeleteAZ is a great winter place. If one gets lonesome for snow it’s only a day drive to find some.
