Another day trip to Sierra Vista

It rained during the night, was 41 degrees this morning, so we made a natural choice for a cold rainy day.  We went back to Sierra Vista and did the laundry.  There was plenty of it; we’ve been saving it for a rainy day.

When the rain stopped after lunch we went to Mineville, the site of a mining and ore processing town of the 1880’s just 8 miles from Tombstone.  Nothing left but some stone walls.
There are also some petroglyphs adjacent to Mineville from about 2000 years ago.
We didn’t spend much time there because it started to rain again.  Got slightly wet before getting back to the truck.

The Santa Rita Mountains are the ones I have photographed in all those sunsets.  I don’t know how much more snow they have today, I can’t see them!  They are supposed to get more snow tonight.
We noticed snow much lower on the Coronado Mountains than when we were in Sierra Vista today.

Cal has taken my seat, and clearly thinks it's OK
