Yup, we left our fantastic boondock site, left the Empire Ranch and left Arizona behind. It was sad to leave Arizona. Tonight we are back in Hidden Valley Ranch RV camp in Deming, NM. Now don't get me wrong, this is a fine campground. Excellent for getting back to regular campground camping. Spacious, friendly, great views. Full hookup, so the tanks are drained and the fresh water is ready to be at least partially refilled.
Driving over here was fine. Nice sunny day and warm enough to tolerate a T-shirt. Some of the roadside desert had turned yellow with small flowers. We don't know what they are but it was pretty. My attempts at photographing them were not successful with the glare on the windshield.

Last look at the view from Empire Ranch.. Each morning when I did my shoulder exercises this was what I had to look at! |

Green stuff and a glass of Knappogue Castle. Yup, it's St. Paddy's Day! |
