Boondocking on Empire Ranch

Yet another nice day.  Moved from Pima County Fairgrounds to Empire Ranch on BLM (Bureau of land Management) land near the town of Sonoita, AZ.  We share this camp site with one other camper, and I have only seen the guy once.  Nobody else around for miles.  Quiet and very peaceful.  The solar panels are out and the generator is available if we need the microwave.  100 gal. of fresh water and the waste tanks are empty.  We're set for a while!
This afternoon we went out to Patagonia and Nogales.   Patagonia is a great little town.  We spent a  few hours there.  We got out and walked around for some time, checked out a few shops and got some great iced coffee.  Then to the Proctor Hummingbird place, bird feeders, habitat, and a trail.  Of course we went out on the trail for a few miles.  Callahan got some illegal off-leash time and he sure enjoyed that!  He never goes far from us anyway.
Nogales is a small city adajecent to the larger Mexican city.  We drove in, looked around and drove back.  We considered walking into Mexico but decided against it; kind of late in the day.
When we got back to camp we found a note from Stevie & Jayne who had visited the ranch and found our hide-out!
The sunset tonight was superb!
