Another nice driving day of about 210 miles. This is an RV Park adjacent to a truck stop in Balmorhea Texas. They have a nice 5 acre cactus garden next to the camping. We stopped here last year when I was traveling with Mike & Becky. Looks like some of these campers are workers who are here for a while. One of them even has a lawn mower. There isn’t a blade of grass anywhere near here!
Lovely balmy warm night. It was 83 when we arrived at 2:30, now down to 69 at 9:00. Sunset was just an hour ago. We are at the far west end of Central Time Zone.
Tomorrow we are headed south to Seminole Canyon State Park on the Rio Grande. I am not sure what the connectivity is there. It is quite remote. If I recall there is no cell service and the WiFi is weak. You have to stand on one foot in front of the bath house. My posting here may be a bit sparse for the next few days. If I’m right you’ll see some text but no pictures. If its worse you’ll hear from me again Saturday night.
