Garçon Point

Thrilling day.  I spent the morning doing the taxes, got the last tidbit of info.  Carlene did some laundry.  But that task is finally finished.  Between Fed and State we owe $21.  But it’s more like we have a Fed refund and a State debt that almost match.

After all that we found a trail on Garçon Point that is 1.5 miles, but with a piece flooded we did 2.7 since we reversed direction at the wet part.  In her sandals Carlene enjoyed the wet part, I didn’t want soaked sneakers the rest of the day.  And in this humidity they wouldn’t dry for 3 days.  In AZ they’d dry in 3 hours.

Then a quick run to the grocery store.  But it wasn’t all that quick with 5 o’clock traffic.  We got home about 6.

  1. Looks like Spring!
Pat and I have decided to "get out Dodge" today, rather than wait for the impending storm poised to hit the Northeast on Saturday. So, it's now a mad rush to finish packing, and make the run South.
