Tallahassee, FL Auto Museum

The Tallahassee Automobile Museum is still one more fine Harvest Host stop.  We are here for 2 nights.  We made our final time zone change today, back in EDT.

The museum is quite large and on 2 floors.  Several dozen cars, some pianos, Remington bronzes, motorcycles, knives, a police badge & patch collection, dozens of outboard motors, dolls, even Batmobiles …

We spent a few hours touring all of that. We have a big field that we share with 2 other HH campers.  We have seen them but not met them.

These are half of the photos from today.

First thing I noticed when driving in was the Tie fighter

The panel folds are supposed to go this way, but so what

The “Bandit’s” Trans Am
(Smokey & the Bandit)
OK, this is a much later model, but they credit the movie with a big surge in Trans Am sales

A Deusenberg!

1951 Florida State Trooper

The ‘51 trooper has a single action revolver
In a right hand holster, worn on his left side
With the pistol backwards in the holster
😆😂
Museums can be so much fun!
