We got out this morning with no problems at all. I did see the back end of the camper scrape once but it didn't amount to anything. 3 hours later we arrived in Safford AZ. We have stayed here once before (I think) 3 years ago at Roper Lake State Park. The state park is full, this campground had one space left. This park has a section for campers but is mostly occupied with mobile homes. It is a retirement community now. We walked around the outer drive after supper. It looks like an upscale trailer park, meaning everything is well kept, no clutter visible.
This is a pretty area. No cactus but there is farming, actual crop production farming. Cotton, hay and other commodities. Irrigated from the Gila River.
It is quite a switch to be back in a park. In town. Wal-Mart is next door. Sirens on the street. It is the first time we have been plugged in to electric power and have city water since we were at the Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson on Feb. 11. 4 weeks of dry camping! But it has effective WiFi, I was able to upload over 800 photos from my iPhone to the Dropbox and then my laptop. It's a long process but the photos end up with the date in the file name making it easier to sort it all out. Then I copy it all onto a remote hard drive for back up.

Our place. You can't see it in the photo but there are snow capped mountains above the camper |
