Nice morning at Roper Lake, good sun on the mountain. Got the act together, dumped the tanks and came back to our spot on Haekel Road, BLM Land in Solomon AZ.
It was empty. We picked a spot a little farther from the road to park this time. We had worn the grass a bit where we were so we wanted to move anyway. This allows us to keep our front view of the mountain even if anyone else does move in here. And around 1:00 someone did! They are off to the other side and we barely know they are here. I've only seen one guy out for a minute, but we can't see the camper door so he could have been outside all day for all we know. That camper is a short 5th wheel with an additional trailer in tow that is full of stuff, like a kayak. He didn't unhitch the truck so hard to guess how long he'll be here.
We took a walk down the gravel road going south from camp. Two more van campers parked down there. Didn't see anyone. Got to a cattle grate that Cal couldn't cross so we came back.
