We enjoyed a pleasant 3 hour drive from Empire Ranch to Rodeo NM today. It rained last night and some today but allowed us a dry period to hitch up and leave camp.
We’re at Rusty’s RV Park in Rodeo, NM. This is a nice spacious campground. And nice people own it.
Later this afternoon we went exploring the Chiricahua area. Such immense scenery! We stopped at the ranger station to get some info and came out with maps and a lot of info! The volunteer here really knows the place. We got more than enough to keep us busy for four days.
We’re camping in NM on Mtn. Daylight time and hiking in AZ on MST, so the time difference may be interesting too.
