A fine but slightly overcast morning gave way to a sunny and very warm afternoon, like 75!
Just before lunch today we heard a flock of Sandhill Cranes fly over. We looked all over the sky but never did see them. They must have been a little too far away to see, but close enough to be heard.
So after an early lunch we got out the bicycles and had a 15 mile ride down the road in front of camp. Well, now I’m exhausted and will probably be sore tomorrow! That meant taking a relaxing late afternoon trying to rehydrate and recover. We waited until almost sunset to put the bikes away, ie repack them in the camper.
Once back at camp!
I get such a kick out of how she sits in a door way!
