Doctor day for Carlene. But we started off early with an oil change for the truck. $81, cheaper than at home. Then some groceries for the next 10 days. That’s 5 days on Empire Ranch with 2 small convenience stores and then 5 days in Rodeo NM with a very small corner store.
Got all that done in time to get Carlene to her ophthalmology appointment early enough to make even her happy! 😆 And that all went well too.
While she was doing that Skye and I ran a couple more errands, printing school vote absentee ballots, getting fuel, and taking a long walk around the neighborhood near the med building. Skye met a few new friends while we walked, as usual. We toured a few residential streets, checking out the local landscaping styles. Anything from a yard full of cactus to all concrete front yards.
Back home for a walk around here, finding stuff & looking around.
This guy is next to us now. Cool trike on a trailer, but towed behind his 5th wheel, so it’s a tandem trailer rig. From Alberta.
