Arizona!

Here we are in Safford AZ, on one of our favorite boondocking camp sites, BLM land.   We were lucky again, our spot was vacant.  As usual it’s a quarter mile to the next camper.  We can only see 3 campers from here.  Beautiful and quiet.
One surprise is Mt Graham.  With all the cold and snow all over the south we expected a lot more snow than previous years.  It appears to be less.  We’ll know in the morning when the sun is lighting up this side.
It was a very sunny day, very pleasant drive from El Paso area.  It was only 8 degrees this morning!  Coldest I remember for any time on any of these trips west.  And we have awakened to frozen water pipes a lot more times than other years.  2/3 of the drive was on I-10, the other half was US 70 from Lordsburg to here.  That 75 miles of 2 lane from the vast flatlands of NM up into the rolling hills of AZ was grand.
Once here and set up we just lounged outside the camper in the sun and enjoyed the warm 55 degree afternoon.  First time we have both sat outside for any length of time.  We did in SC but it was brief.
Sunset was quick but nice.  Supposed to be near 30 tonight, actually every night for several days.  And in the 60s daytime.
