7 days on the road, a new time zone, a sunny day.
We are at the Bama Bison Farm in Alabama in a big open field. Feels like we have it all to ourselves. There are 3 other campers in a separate campground a couple hundred yards away, but we can barely see them. The farm house is a quarter mile. There is a nice pond that Skye wanted to swim in, but we didn’t need a wet dog again this soon.
They sell bison beef but are pretty well sold out right now. More in late Jan. BNice flat site here. We’ve been pretty lucky with flat level sites. We haven’t had to unhitch or put down jacks anywhere except Myrtle Beach when we spent 2 nights.
It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 day coming over here. Mostly on US highways, so 2-4 lane roads going through small Georgia towns. We aren’t very far into Alabama tonight. It was all fairly flat country, at least to a Vermonter.
It’s supposed to rain tomorrow, snow up north of us. We’ll take our time and it’s supposed to be done in MS by 4 PM.
