This was a beautiful sunny day for a drive in the country. Up to 51 degrees too! The first part was 4 lane state roads, a little like Rt 7 in southern VT. Through small and medium SC towns, some so small I don’t think we saw them. We went through them, just didn’t see them.
Then a stretch of I-20 before wandering about narrow paved roads to find Sand Hills Farm. 77 acres of field and forest, a very nice trail through the woods. Skye found a pond for a quick dip that had her ever so happy! She’s dried out now and napping on the bed.
We’ve made HH reservations for the next 2 days. Looks like Friday will be a drive in the rain. Big storm that you’ve probably read about coming across the south. Looks like snow just one state north of us, being weather wary Vermonters we just stay south of the white stuff!
